Everything was perfect, wonderful staff, excellent location next to the truly beautiful garden, fields, and the local pub The Miner's Arms. Enjoyed beautifully decorated and extremely pleasant room with comfortable beds, felt like we were home. The breakfast was reasonably good and lovely with jam and homemade bread, as for instance, no complaints whatsoever.

I had a wonderful stay at this tranquil rural retreat. the owners, Jenny and Jeff, were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Despite our late arrival, they made sure we felt at home. the room was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Jenny's homemade breakfast, with fresh fruit, delicious coffee, and her own preserves, was absolutely delicious. She also provided us with valuable information about nearby attractions. Mellowvean was a charming and secluded place to stay. CONS: No issues whatsoever.

Nestled in a beautiful part of the world, this B&B is ideally located for those seeking tranquility. the room is beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed, and the bathroom is clean and well-maintained. the hosts go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, offering helpful information and accommodating late arrivals. the delicious breakfast, with fresh ingredients and homemade preserves, is a highlight. Guests can also enjoy the stunning views from the garden or opt for a bit more privacy in the separate chalet.
The walk from the B&B to the nearby attractions can be a bit challenging, as the route along a country road lacks a proper footpath.

I had a wonderful stay at a hidden gem in the beautiful countryside. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, and the personalized breakfasts were a delightful treat. The host was super helpful and made me feel welcome. Despite a small inconvenience of having to pass through the owner's living room to reach my room, the overall experience was excellent. I highly recommend this peaceful and convenient retreat. I'll definitely be recommending this hotel.
